# 1. Activity Central at Novotel Twin Waters Resort - $Free for guests

Holidays and family escapes are our specialty with fun filled activity schedules available throughout school holidays offering a roster of free games & competitions including sandcastle building, beach cricket, volleyball, Frisbee, tog-o-war, and much more to entertain resort guests. # 2. Mount Coolum National Park, Hiking- $Free 
Enjoy a 30 minute trek to the summit of an ancient volcanic dome, created about 26 million years ago or choose from more than 27 other different walking tracks including beach, coastal, wetland and forest environments, some of which take you to spectacular scenic lookouts in the region. Ask our team at reception for directions and maps of the region.

# 3. Fish feeding from the jetty at Novotel Twin Waters Resort - $Free for guests 

With 36 hectares of natural bushland and a private beach lined lagoon at the resort, there is an abundance of flora and fauna in the surrounds. The lagoon has a host of small estuary fish living in the eco-system and daily fish feeding is scheduled by staff to ensure this valuable amphibious eco-system continues for a long time. # 4. Mini-Golf at Novotel Twin Waters Resort - $Free for guests

The purpose built Putt Putt golf course sits on a manicured natural lawn nearby the main complex and is free to play for all guests; free putter, balls and scorecard can be obtained from the porters or front desk staff plus during school holidays the Activity Central team may arrange competitions. # 5. Catamaran and Kayak on the private lagoon at Novotel Twin Waters Resort - $Free for guests

Sail or paddle the days away on a private lagoon within resort grounds with family & friends watching from their own room or from the banks of the lagoon. Instructions and safety briefing is provided prior to sailing or paddling on the lagoon. Resort guests can access these facilities for free during their stay or day passes are available to purchase. # 6. Night Vision tours with Xperiences at Novotel Twin Waters Resort - $50 per person* 
Visitors use the state-of-the-art night vision goggles to embark on a tour through the resort bushland, with tours available from dusk daily for the adventurous or a more slow-paced tour for nature lovers, Bookings are essential, contact our Activity Central team here

 # 7. Hire a BBQ Boat and fish the Maroochy River - $Fees apply

Drivers licence only required to hire these estuary boats fitted with a BBQ ready for a unique family dining experience "cooking on the barby", sit back relax while cruising the Maroochy River and fish the river banks. # 8. Whale Watching tours & day excursions - $Fees apply

During winter time along the Queensland Coast line, the migration of whales commences and this magical occasion every year is a sight to be seen from any vantage point. 10. Segway Eco Tour with Xperiences at Novotel Twin Waters Resort - $60 per person*

Glide effortlessly through the Eucalyptus forest and bush tracks around the resort’s 10 hectare property on your own all terrain Segway and enjoy Australia’s first Eco certified all terrain Segway guided tour, available morning or afternoon and Bookings are essential, contact our Activity Central team here

11. Visit the historic ‘Sunshine Castle’ just down the road at Bli Bli - $Fees apply

12. Surf lessons at Coolum Beach - $Fees apply

13. Visit a popular local attraction, ‘The Ginger Factory’ just down the road at Bli Bli - $Free entry

 14. Timari Village Market Place - $Free entry

15. Aussie World, Australia Zoo, Sea Life (Underwater world), Big Kart Track - $Fees apply

These names are just some of the widely well-known names of attractions on the Sunshine Coast and if you haven't yet visited then these attractions are well worth the visit. # 17. Market to Markets, this little piggy went to Market - $Free entry

Eumundi, Yandina, Noosa, Fishermans Road, Cotton Tree and Coolum are all the well known locations for the most popular and diverse local markets with the freshest food treats, produce and handmade local crafts available. # 18. Coastal Drives that won't cause the back seat to ask "are we there yet?" - $Fees apply

With 2 of the top 8 scenic drives right here on the Sunshine Coast, follow the roads most travelled or choose your own route. Take the scenic drive along the coast from Caloundra to the Fraser Coast including our very own Mudjimba and take in the incredibly beautiful vistas captured on almost every corner. The ocean road meanders through the tourist strips all the way through to the quiet suburbs and optional stops along the way may just hold treasured memories that make the ‘are we there yet’ symphony of words from the back seat well worth the trip.
